Glitter Halloween Bird Cage

Last but not least ... One more glitter technique. A little Chrystal Effects and Glitter made this Bird Cage Halloween ready!

I found this small bird cage in a summer clearance bin when I was out shopping. It was $1!!!
I spray painted it black and then added some Stampin' Up! sparkle to make it perfect for Halloween.

this is the before pic
I used the same technique that I focused on in my blog posts Glitter Gourds and Glitter Mason Jar ... check them out!!!

Step 1
Spray paint bird cage black

Step 2
Paint Chrystal Effects over birdcage

Step 3
Quickly dump Stampin' Glitter over wet Chrystal Effects

Step 4
Add a little Stampin' Embellishment (and treats if you like!)

I love treat containers (well really, lets be honest, I love treats)! I think I will fill a cello bag with candy corn and pop it in the wee cage. It will be so cute! Do I have to gift it? Or can I keep it??

I hope you are having a creative day .. are you glitter inspired yet??
