Christmas pop-up slider card

I am all about cards with a wow ... but ... they need to  be quick to assemble. Patience is not something I am blessed with. One of my Stampin' Up! demonstrator friends, Michelle Weinhandl, always says "Maximum effect for minimum effort!". Ah, yes please!

When I saw pop-up slider cards on Pinterest I have to admit I was intimidated. They are such a WOW and I thought that they would be too complicated. Last month, in a moment of weakness, I decided to give them a shot. I have to admit that they are actually pretty straight forward ... well once I followed the instructions outlined on the My Creative Nook blog.

I challenged my stamp clubbers to do them and they loved it! They looked a little "dear in the headlights" when I showed them the cards. But with instructions in hand they rocked it out.

Now for the how!! Here are the instructions:

My best advice is to do a "test" project with some old card stock. Don't go using your fave card stock that you have been hording until you have done a wee practise round.

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a creative day!
