We had a very busy weekend in our house. On Friday mom Mom had her gull bladder removed ... thankfully! Sounds crazy to say but it is true! On Thursday she went to the hospital in so much pain. They had to wait until Friday morning to do an ultrasound so they sent her home. I drove her back Friday morning and as we were waiting we discussed the outcome options. I joked and said that basically we were wishing for an infection and emergency surgery. The alternative was not good news. My Mom would be put on the elective surgery list and would have to wait, while suffering, for a surgery date.
Sure enough Friday afternoon the doctor confirmed, our wish came true! The gull bladder was in fact infected and they took her to the O.R.
Now only a Stamper would have a card for that ... right? (winky face).

Okay, Okay ... I did not actually make this card for this milestone. It was a creation that my Stamp Club customers did in January. But I thought it was cheeky and funny considering.
This card is bursting with products from the Occasions Catalogue. I suppose it would also make a great Birthday card.
Mom is home now and on the mend. She came home on Sunday. She usually comes over everyday on her way home from work. We will miss her this week but she is resting and that is exactly what she needs. Fingers crossed she will be herself and back to life (and work) in three weeks.
