Trim the Tree projects - Artisan Design Team blog hop

Welcome, welcome!

Today is the weekly Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop! Can you believe that it is the middle of November? Wasn't Halloween just yesterday?

It seams that as soon as November 1 hits, Christmas takes over. Everywhere I turn there are Christmas decorations, the stores are merchandised for the Holidays and the festive commercials are on. This weekend I got the bug and even turned on the Christmas Carols! gasp! I could not help it! The snow was falling and we were crafting at my Winter Retreat! It was just perfect!

Not feeling the spirit yet? Well these projects just might help!

The Designer Paper here is a page from the Trim the Tree Paper Stack.
No cutting required! They come at 4-1/4" x 6-1/5"!
I was inspired by the new Many Mary Stars Kit in the Holiday Supplement Catalogue!
I used the Big Shot and Stars Framelits to cut the Gold Glimmer Paper.
The word Joy was cut using the Wonderful Wreath Framelits.

The Kraft Cardstock was scored with the scoring tool at 1/4".
This gave me neat lines to journal on!
These Christmas Cards were created using the same
Designer Series Paper as the Scrapbook layouts.
NOEL CARD

JOY CARD

This Joy flip card was created in a snap with the Circle Card Thinlit and the Big Shot.
Take a look at the card in motion ....

If you followed my post last week you will remember the non-traditional Christmas color scheme. So now the question ... which are your faves? These warm traditional colors or the frosty pastel color scheme from last week?

Next up on the hop is Lisa Harlow.
Click along to see all of the amazing projects!

I hope you have found the spirit .. even just a little bit!! Thank-you for reading! Have a creative day!
