curling designer series paper - day 8 - Dolce 12 days of Christmas

Welcome to day 8 of the Dolce 12 days of Christmas. Each week I am sharing my favorite Stampin' Up! products and some great project ideas. Today is my last post this weeks fave product - Designer Series Paper. Come back and visit tomorrow for my final favorite product! Any guesses what it could be??

Designer Series Paper quickly jazzes up a gift box! You can add belly bands around your boxes by cutting strips of DSP (Designer Series Paper). The large the box = more strips. Just adhesive each strip together with Sticky Strip.

1.  Use a Sticky Round as the base of your bow
hint: I layered a piece of DSP to the box belly band so that I had a place for the sticky round. I did not want the sticky round to adhesive to the box, I wanted to slide the belly band off and use the box again.
2.  Cut a sheet of DSP to 6" x 12"
3.  Run your DSP through a paper shredder (Only if you have a shredder that shreds lines, the crisscross ones will not work).
4.  Use a bone folder and curl each piece of DSP (just like when you curl ribbon)
5.  Stick curls to the sticky round on top of the box

I decided to shred and curl the other half of that DSP sheet. It makes a great box filler! My gift was not in the box when I did the photograph but I bought my sister-in-law some OPI nail polish and sat it in the curled ribbon. The polish was red, of course, and looked so cute!

To celebrate DSP this week I am offering a sale and giveaway!

Thank-you for visiting! Have a creative day!
