what makes you happy? - artisan design team blog hop

Welcome back to the Stampin' Up! weekly Artisan Design Team blog hop!!

As we start the New Year many of us make resolutions. We ask ourselves what we want from the year ahead. What do we want to do, achieve or accomplish? Many popular resolutions are based on diet, exercise and fiances. My goal this year is none of the above. I simply want to do more of what makes me happy.

These scrapbook pages sum it up. My family. They make me so happy. I want more time with them. More laughter and more memories. Simple.

Being on the Artisan Design Team has given me more of what makes me happy too! Our weekly blog hop has given me the opportunity to fall back in love with paper crafting and to do projects "just for fun". (Well ... and for a blog post, but it really has been fun and relaxing to create things that do not need to be based on a class or event).

The journaling pocket was creating using the new Mini Treat Bag Thinlit Die.
I love the custom button on it! I punched a piece of Designer Series Paper
with the 1/2" Circle Punch and used the new Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers!

You can see that my journaling card just slides out of the pocket.
I journaled about my family and what we do that makes me happy.
The tab was created by punching a piece of Designer Series Paper with the Ticket Duo Punch.
I folded it in half and stapled it on the journaling card.

I hope that you have had a wonderful start to this New Year! Comment and tell me what you have resolved to do this year!

Next on the blog hop is Lisa Harlow
