Pick a Punch - Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the weekly Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!

It is June! In Edmonton this is the start of our summer!!! The kids still have a month left of school but the weather has shifted and you can not help but to be cheery.

In the June Artisan boxes we received two new punches to play with and this week we all will be blogging projects with the Pick a Punch theme! These are my punch picks ...

This week I have a load of cards to share with you! I had my team meeting earlier in the week and we created these cards.

The only problem was that they did not use a punch (for the pick a punch theme). I made a couple of changes and created these. I am so happy with the outcome. My lesson for you - you can CASE (create and share everything) a card that you love, even if you do not have all of the supplies!

Here are the pick a punch cards ...
smoky slate, whisper white, delightful dijon

1.  Ink your Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder with Crumb Cake & Smoky Slate ink.
     * The folder has a Stampin' Up! logo on the front. This will be the top side of the Embossing folder.
This will be the side you want to ink.
     * I rubbed the ink pads directly on the folder randomly with both colors. You do not want it to be even, make it patchy.
     * If you are worried about transferring the ink and harming your ink pads, you can use a Sponge or a Brayer.

2.  Add a sheet of Whisper White Cardstock into the Embossing folder and close it.

3.  Run it through the big shot with the multipurpose platform and standard cutting pads.

soft sky, whisper white, tip top taupe, crushed curry, watermelon wonder

One last card ... This too is from my team meeting but it used the new Banner Triple Punch. I think that I have waited all of my life for this banner punch! It will make your heart skip when you use it to create banners! Best invention EVER!!
bermuda bay, cucumber crush, watermelon wonder

The Watermelon Wonder banner looks like Designer Series Paper, right? It is not! I stamped the I Think You're Great stamp on Whisper White cardstock!

Both of these punches (and may others) are now available in the 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue! These punches are just an order away!
