Confession time! I am totally Christmas'ed out when it comes to stamping. I have received new Stampin' supplies from the catalogue that will come to you January 5th, 2016. I decided that this week for the Global Design Project I would stamp a fresh non-Christmas card!
The challenge this week is to case the designer
Bibi Cameron. Do you follow her? She from the UK and is so very talented. I love her work!
I have to say that this card was difficult to photograph! I hope that these close ups do it justice!
I stamped the white clouds and the greeting on a
Window Sheet with
StazOn Ink. Did you know that Stampin' Up! has
WHITE StazOn?! Well it is true. These clouds look soft and floating on the window sheet and I must say that I love it!!!
The background was sponged with
Soft Sky Ink. I stamped the balloons and
Silver Embossed a few of them. The background balloons that do not have an embossed detail are stamped with
Smoky Slate.
It looks like a shaker card but I wanted control over the sequins locations. Rather than letting the sequins shake around in the card, I used the
Fine Tip Glue Pen to put them in place. (Don't tell my therapist. We have been working on my "need to control" issues).
