A Sprakly Season & a Farewell to the 2014/15 Artisan Design Team

Sadly the time has come. The current 2014/15 Stampin' Artisan Design Team is sharing their final blog hop today. To say farewell and celebrate a wonderful year together we are having a Treasure Hunt! You will have to visit each Artisan in the blog hop and take note of the clues on each site (more on that at the end of this post).

Before we get to that I have two festive projects to share with you!

Antlers are hot this season. They are everywhere and I have to say that I am digging this trend. I even would like to find a pair of real antlers with a European mount to hang in our cabin. Something that I would never have thought I would say! My husband is a huge fisherman and we have a bunch of fish taxidermied (is that a word?) and they live happily on display in our garage. That is not the same (and those fishies can just stay where they are) but the antlers I would allow inside!!

I was so excited when I started to play with the Seasonal Frame Thinlits and discovered that the Sleigh Ride Edgelits worked with them!! I think this little snow globe is just darling with the village inside!

Okay, are you ready for the treasure hunt details??

How to play:
1) Collect the names of 12 Stampin' Up! products by clicking through our blog hop this week.
2) Fill out the entry form below at the end of this post.
Please note: One winner will be drawn per Artisan. Entries close 9pm, Wednesday 4th November Eastern Time (US). Winners will be contacted via email week beginning 9th November 2015. These prizes are a bit of love from us to you and are not sponsored by Stampin' Up!.

MY TREASURE HUNT CLUE ....
Gift Bag Punch Board

I am excited to be giving away a fantastic bundle of products. The "And Many More" clear mount stamp set has 23 greetings and is perfect for every occasion. The "Very Merry" on these cards above came from this set. I am also including a package of Antique Brads, Basic Rhinestones and Linen thread. One lucky Canadian winner will receive all of this!

watercolor thankful card - #TGIFC26

Welcome to the weekly TGIF Challenge! Today's challenge ....

If you are a follower you will know that I simply love the watercolor technique. This inspiration sketch screamed watercoloring to me. What does it say to you? Remember that everyone can play along! Each sketch inspires everyone differently. We would love to see what you have created!

The background is watercolor paper. I watercolored using Delightful Dijon Reinker and an Aqua Painter.

Watercolor paper is thicker than Stampin' Up!'s colored cardstock. I used the Hello You Thinlits and the Big Shot to get the large "thanks" on the watercolor paper. Just be sure to let the watercolor paper dry before you put it through the Big Shot. You will want to crank this through the Big Shot just one time. It will not cut all the way through (because it is thick).

Click over the TGIF Challenges Site to see what the rest of the talented design team has created. You will also find contest rules and you can view the submissions from the followers that will be posted throughout the week!

Thank-you for visiting! Have a creative Day!

Jolly Christmas Stack of Cards - Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

It is that time of year ... I have started stamping Christmas projects! I lit a 'Tis the Season Candle from Bath and Body works and made myself a cup of tea to set the mood. I contemplated adding some Christmas carols but decided on my Stampin' play list instead. (I did not want to over do it right out of the gate).

The Artisan Design Team was giving the Jolly Christmas Stamp Set to play with this week. Once I started creating Christmas Cards I could not stop. In fact, I created 8 cards on one evening. You are going to love these!

I am going to offer these cards at my annual Dolce Winter Retreat on November 28, 2015. Here are my event details. If you live in Canada, this kit & instructions will be available by mail.

Each registered guest for this set of cards will receive a
package of Snowflake Elements.

So tell me, have you started Christmas crafting yet? If I am being honest, it does feel a bit too early to me. I have started because it is a part of the business. I love to do most of my Christmas crafting by the tree with carols and a plate of Christmas baking. (I know that it is way to early for that!).What about you?

Up next on the blog hop is the talented Mercedes Weber.
Click over to Mercedes blog and continue clicking through the hop to see all of the tallented designers on this team.

Next week will be our final post as the 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team. Be sure to tune in for our farewell!

Thank-you for visiting! Have a creative day!
