beach ball punch art - TGIFC61

The end of the school year is here and that means that it is time to plan my daughters birthday party. When you look at this party invitation you may think that there is a type-o. No no ... the party is in August, nearly two months away.

Many of you are rolling your eyes and thinking yourselves that I am one of "those Moms". The organized Mom that always has her lipstick on and brings home made cookies to the bake sale. The show off or brown noser Mom? I assure you, I am often a hot mess with the best of them. Having a summer kido means that I plan the party a bit early so that we can give friends the invitations before we leave for summer break. Why not just do a text or Facebook invite? gasp .... I would loose my street cred!

This year the birthday girls wants a Summer Splash Party. We will bust out the sprinkler and Slip & Slide for some back yard fun.

I thought that I should blur my address and phone number from this photo. Then I realized that all you have to do is Google me. It is tough being so famous (wink).

I am also sharing this card for the TGIF Challenge #TGIFC61. The challenge this week was to CASE your favorite designer, challengers or winners from TGIF.
Denita Wright participated in #TGIFC60 last week and created a cute punch art card using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits as water. When I saw her project I was instantly inspired!! Thank-you Denita!

Visit the TGIF Challenges site to see some amazing creations this week! You are welcome to join the fun any time! Get creative and share with us at TGIF!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
