It is Christmas in July with the Stampin' Up!© Artisan Design Team! I have mixed feelings about this blog hop theme. Crafting Christmas is really the best. It brings the warm fuzzies! Plus, Stamping in July gives you a huge head start on the holiday rush. Buuuuut ... it is July! Canadians are only have 3 months of summer and we are already half way through the warm sunny days. I do not want to even think about the snow & cold. What do you think? Is July too early to craft Christmas?
Look how cute these new Tiny Treat boxes are!!! My favorite treat in the world is peanut butter cups. Three peanut butter cups fit perfectly!!! I love how they stack up in this treat box. I am sure as the Holidays approach there will be endless candies and chocolates that will fit in these.
A few weeks ago Shelli Gardner shared an embossed splatter technique on her blog. It blew my mind and I had to give it a try. You will mix VersaMark refill with water and splatter it on your cardstock. I did find that the mixture needed more VersaMark and less water in the ratio. The VersaMark was nearly impossible to clean from my paint brush so make sure you are using an old brush or even an old tooth brush. I would not recommend using your Aqua Painters for this.
Are you ready for some more Christmas fun??
Next on the blog hop is Marissa Gunn.
Thank-you for visiting. The Artisan Design Team will be back with another blog hop on August 3rd, 2016. Be sure to follow the team on Pinterest for amazing ideas!
Have a creative day!
