feeling a little nautical - gdp047

Happy Monday my sweet friends!

In the month of July my stamp clubs created some fun, sea inspired, projects. I was attracted to the By the Shore Designer Series Paper and the colors in it. These projects just take me away to a warm beach. I can feel the sand in my toes, the sun on my face and I can smell the salty breeze!

These projects worked perfectly into the Global Design Project Challenge this week - GDP047. A Nautical theme may not be one that you have created with before. You can see from these cards that you do not need a nautical stamp set to create the feeling. Navy and White stripes are perfect for the Nautical theme. Maybe you have something with seashells?

My stamp clubs create two make and take cards each month. This is the second. The By the Shore Designer Paper, in the cards above, is from the By the Shore Product Suite by Stampin' Up!©. This suite has coordinating designer paper, a textured embossing folder, a card stock pack, ribbons and the Seaside Shore Stamp Set. I did not have the Seaside Shore Stamp Set but I found the Picture Perfect Stamp Set in my collection and it had the perfect starfish to keep with my nautical theme!!

My Scrapbooking club and Project Life clubs created projects matching theses two cards. I did not get myself organized enough this week to photograph the projects to share with you. I will do that soon. They have received great reviews from my stampers at club. I am sure you will love them!

Click over to the Global Design Project to see what the design team created with this Nautical theme. Scroll to the end of the Global Design Project GDP047 post and you will see dozens of creations submitted from stampers around the world all week long. You are always invited to take the challenge and play along.

Have a creative day!
