Jar of Love - Fancy Friday Blog Hop

Hello my Fancy Friends! Today the Fancy Friday team will be taking you on a blog hop sharing projects created with some of the amazing bundles currently available in the Stampin' Up!© Catalogue. Did you know that there are over 15 bundles?

I chose the irresistible Jar of Love Bundle.

I created three cards but I felt like I could have just kept creating and creating with this bundle. I love the fish with the greeting "best fishes". Or the firefly with "you light up my life". Which is your favorite?

I paired the Jar of Love bundle with products from the Fruit Stand Suite. The Designer Series Paper and the Fresh Fruit stamp set were a perfect match! Don't you just love that pear in the mason jar??

BONUS DAYS END JULY 31, 2016

a 4"x4" birthday card - GDP046

Hello everyone!!

I will not accept that it is the final week of July. It is just unacceptable! In Edmonton, the weather starts to change in August. We still get hot summer days but the day time temps are not as hot as we see in June and July. That could be because the evenings start to cool off a bit. I have even seen leaves start to change in August. We only get three months of summer here and I like to enjoy every minute. It feels like it is slipping through my fingers!

Today's Global Design Project Challenge GDP046:

When I started this card I had a standard 4-1/4" x 5-1/2" card front. I found that the scale was too big for this layout. Now, I always use Fast Fuse when I craft so there was no taking off the Designer Series Paper. (Once you Fast Fuse there is no turning back, that baby sticks!). I stuck the card in the Paper Trimmer and cut the top off to make a 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" square card. I think that it did not turn out too bad! It was a good save.

How long does summer last for you? I always find the global weather so fascinating. I know my Australian friends are in the Winter season right now. I heard that last week it was 10C ... nothing like a Canadian winter! Comment below and tell me where you are from and what your season is like!

Pool Party & Smoky Slate Birthday Cake - TGIFC65

Was it just me, or did this week feel extra long? I registered Jaleena for summer camp at the YMCA. She has been there from 8:30 to 5:00 each day. With one kid away each day you would think that the week would fly by. Sure doesn't feel that way.

As always, I am happy to take some Mommy time and stamp. Some days I think that it is the only thing that keeps me from the loonie bin! Sorry kids - Daddy is putting you to bed, Mommy has got some crafting to do!

This week I created a birthday cake card for the TGIF Challenge #TGIFC65.

I have had the Build a Birthday Stamp Set in my collection for a while. Surprisingly I have not created a card with it yet! It was perfect for the TGIF cut the cake challenge.

I paired this stamp set with the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set & Duet Banner Punch. These two new products are available in a bundle for a 10% discount. (See the project supply list below).

I stamped the inside of the card with a greeting from the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set.

I created today for the Global Design Project Challenge GDP045 - color challenge.

I used Silver Foil Sheets and the Project Life Clips Thinlits to create this little clip. There are 5 different clips in this die set and the DIY clip opportunities are endless.
