Nailed It (sort of) - Crafty Carrot Co. Blog Hop

Today the Crafty Carrot Collective is blog hopping to share projects with the Nailed It Stamp Set and Framelits. The good news ... you love this product suite! The bad news ... in some markets, Stampin' Up! has sold out of some of these products! Of course, we planned this product feature months ago.

Being creative folk, we came up with a new plan and decided that for this hop, and the May tutorials, we will showcase 2 projects - one project featuring Nailed It and a second featuring an alternate stamp set that will be carried over to the new 2017-2018 Stampin' Up! catalogue.

I stamped the Nailed It hammer on Smoky Slate cardstock with Basic Grey Archival Ink. I used my ink pads and an Aqua Painter to watercolor the hammer. Have you tried this technique?

WATERCOLOR WITH YOUR INK PADS:

1. Squeeze your ink pad together when it is in the closed position. (You are pushing the back side of the top lid into the ink pad itself).

2. Open youR ink pad. You will see that ink transferred to the inside of the lid.

3. Pick up some ink with an Aqua Painter and watercolor your image.

I was pretty impressed the way that my second project came together from CASE-ing the hammer card. (CASE-ing means Copy And Selectively Edit).

Up next on the blog hop is my friend Susan Wong.

Crafty Carrot followers from Canada can shop with me in April. Simply use this host code, place a minimum order of $26 (plus shipping & tax) and you will have access to our May free weekly tutorials, challenges, prizes and more!

Have a creative day!
