Beautiful Peacock - Fancy Friday Blog Hop

I am so happy to be back on the Fancy Friday blog hop! January was a whirlwind month for our family and I missed participating in the hop. Thankfully the stars aligned and I did not have to miss this months color challenge!

This color combo had me at Pool Party but when I saw it paired with Night of Navy and Emerald Envy, I instantly was inspired to use the new Beautiful Peacock Stamp Set!

This photopolymer stamp set is exclusively available to customers who purchase $60 CAD in Stampin' Up!© merchandise (before shipping & tax).

The peacock was created by inking the stamp with Emerald Envy Ink. But before you stamp it onto Whisper White Cardstock, dab the stamp with a Sponge Dauber that has been inked with Night of Navy Ink. One last step before you stamp it ... huff on the stamp, like you would on your glasses if you were cleaning them, this will re-moisten the ink that may have dried - now you can stamp! Fussy cut the body out with Snips.

I stamped the bird a second time with Emerald Envy Ink and fussy cut out the wing to add more layers to the bird. Use Stampin' Dimensionals between the two.

Using a 1/8" Handheld Punch, punch a hole in the bottom corner of your cardstock. Hint: I did this after I layered all of my cardstock together. Thread Pool Party Baker's Twine through a Petal Passion Embellishment and the cardstock, tie in a knot behind. Leave the knot far enough up the twine so you can see it peeking out behind the scalloped Silver Foil Sheet.

The Beautiful Peacock Stamp Set has 12 stamps in the set, 10 of these stamps are flowers, branches/ swirls and greetings! Way more than just a peacock stamp set, right?!
