Petal Palette Crafty Carrot Collective Blog Hop

Oh my gosh! After 4 and a half sold months of cold and snow, it is finally starting to feel like spring! Today we are sitting just above zero C and the sun is shining. It is the perfect weather for the Crafty Carrot Collective's Petal Palette blog hop!

The Petal Palette suite is featured on page 22/23 of the 2018 Stampin' Up! Occasion Catalogue and is comprised of a coordinating stamp set, thinlit dies, designer series paper, embellishments, textured impressions embossing folders and ribbon!

Our April online tutorial program will feature the stamp set, thinlits and designer paper. March is the final month to earn a free, exclusive, item for Sale-a-bration. We have paired the Petal Palette products with Amazing you Sale-a-bration procuts. If you are shopping with us this month, be sure to add these to your cart! (Subscriptions are also available, check the bottom of this post!)

The amazing thing about the Petal Palette Designer Series Paper is that you can change it to be any color combo you can dream of! All 12 of the double sided 12x12 sheets come in black and white patterns. For my project today, I dragged an ink pad across the paper to add the Powder Pink color.

You can also try adding reinker and 70% rubbing alcohol to a spritz bottle and spraying the paper.
Or, ink a Sponge Brayer, Stampin' Sponge, or Sponge Daubers to color the paper!

If you have other tricks to color this paper, comment below! I would love to hear from you!

Do you want a couple of bonus projects?! My stamp clubs created this card in February. I have clubs that scrapbook and create pocketed Memories & More layouts too. Here are those creations from our February club ...

I know, I know ... these layouts need photos! I am always behind at that job! Sigh.

  1. Very pretty card Krista - love the 'wash' on the DSP and that bird is so cute. Great scrapbook layouts too!
