Rose Holiday Table - #GDP220

Last week on the blog, I teased that I had a pink holiday table to share with you all! Your response to my pink Christmas tree card was amazing and I know you are going to love this tablescape!

If you follow me, you may have caught a holiday table setting post in the past. I love to change my color and theme each year. This is totally affordable with a trip to a dollar store! This year I found ball ornaments that coordinate with Stampin' Up!'s© in color Rococo Rose! This color is so hot this year - I see it everywhere!

I also picked up the silver trees, rose gold jingle bells and rose gold tea lights in my dollar store trip. I had the silver sleigh, bowl and mini lights but the dollar store totally has similar finds, I am sure! My table runner is a roll of wrapping paper from IKEA! I have hosted two Christmas parties so far with this table setting and everyone loved this table runner idea!

The place-mats are a piece of 8-1/2" x 11" Rococo Rose Cardstock from Stampin' Up!©. Most managed to make it through the dinner without getting dirty so these will totally be up-cycled for paper crafting!

My Stampin' Up!© touch to the table setting is the handmade treats for all of my guests. Check out the bottom of this post for the supply list and shop my on-line store for all of the supplies you will require to make these treat bags.

Quick tip ... the bags come flat and just require a simple score line, 1" from the bottom, to make it a gusset bag.

My treat bag was inspired by this weeks Global Design Project Challenge #GDP220. I was inspired by the following details on Shawn's card
  • Background stamping with tone on tone colors. Shawn used Pretty Peacock and I used Blushing Bride but we have both captured the same technique.
  • The metallic stripe. Shawn looks like he embossed a stripe across the bottom of his card. It inspired me to add a length of copper ribbon to my tag.

Visit the GDP to see what the rest of the design team has created and follow all week to see what participants from around the world are sharing. If you are crafty - join us!

I hope that I have inspired you to consider pink a Christmas color! Thank-you for visiting! Have a creative day!
