nautical theme scrapbook layout & cards

The nautical theme is a hot trend right now. It seams everywhere I turn there are nautical influences. I was at Home Sense this week and they had pillows, blankets, home decor pieces and a children's bedroom set. Many clothing stores have darling T's with nautical prints and patterns.

You just know Stampin' Up! is always on with trends. Our current Occasions Catalogue has the cutest High Tide Suite! My May stamp clubs created these cards and scrapbook layouts with this suite ...

You're my best mate card
Ahoy card

12x12 scrapbook page No.1

12z12 scrapbook layout No. 2
Take a look at the details ...

The boat sail was created with the Perfect Pennants Bigz L die.
To create the buoy - punch a 1 3/8" circle on Whisper White cardstock, then punch a 2 1/2" circle centered on the first hole. Wrap Calypso Coral Bakers Twine around to finish.
The mast is simply a skewer from the grocery store.
This banner was quickly created using the Perfect Pennants Bigz L die

This little whale was cut right from the High Tide Designer Series Paper.
The waves were cut with the Big Shot and the Adoring Accents Edgelits.
This product suite is only here for a few more days! Sad but true. When the Occasions Catalogue leaves us on June 1st, 2014, so will these fab products.

Even more ... the Adorning Accents Edgelits and the Perfect Pennants Bigz L die are leaving our Annual Catalogue on June 4th forever. Good news is that the Perfect Pennants die is now on sale for only $24.71! (while supplies last).

I hope you have been inspired to create with a nautical theme! Thank-you for reading!! Have a creative day!

coffee cup gift containers

Today I got to play with some new products that are coming in our new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue on June 2nd, 2014. It was like Christmas morning!

I immediately fell in love with our newest adhesive, Fast Fuse! You will love how easy it is to work with and how much sticking power it has. Typically I would have used Sticky Strip designing this class, but the new Fast Fuse did the job perfectly with much less fuss.

Each registered guest will get there very own Fast Fuse to keep in this upcoming class!!

I designed this class for teachers gifts but I think this gift is perfect for almost any occasion! You could can even use these cups and take a friend coffee for two!

I would love to have you join us at this event. Contact me by June 2, 2014 to register.

Thanks for visiting! Have a creative day!

Caribbean Cruse Highlights!

Last week was a wonderful week in the sun with my family. It was the Stampin' Up! Grand Vacation to the Caribbean on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Allure of the Seas. Although it was a Stampin' Up! trip, it truly was a vacation for us.

I decided not to take my phone on the trip! Gasp! Believe it or not ... I survived. We spent all our time together relaxing, playing and eating!!

I earned this amazing trip free from Stampin' Up! for my sales and leadership last year. It was our very first cruise experience. It was a huge ship with about 7,000 people on board! About 700 of those were Stampers and their families. I believe the number of demo's that cruised was around 275. This was the first global incentive trip so that means that these are the top demonstrators in the world! (and yours truly is in that mix! pinch me!)

inside the ship on the promenade ... truly like a floating mall!

Our first night aboard Stampin' Up! closed the Boardwalk for our welcome party! We rode the carousel, munched on popcorn and met new friends. After we watched an amazing show, OceanAria. It was full of acrobatics, diving, swimming and more ... very Cirque Du Soleil-esque. It was a great kick off!

the "Penguins of Madagascar"
some big guys from How to "Train Your Dragon"
Each day we relaxed in the sun and swam with the kids. That is what we went to do. We all loved it so much! We ported in Haiti, Jamaica and Cozumel, Mexico and with each stop we found our way to the beach!

When we were on board we took in a few shows. There was an Ice Skating performance, a Dreamworks Madagascar water show and a Parade. Many of our fellow cruisers took in many more performances, but we hit the early and kid friendly ones. After all that sun we needed our beauty rest!

Stampin' Up! had a gathering place for us. We swapped cards, made friends, played games and won prizes! A Stampin' gathering place is never complete without BUCKETS of candy! That could be the reason for me new two cavities the dentist found yesterday!

all of our new DSP made into a dazzling skirt
ditto for the new Ribbons!
The boat had two rock walls on the back of the ship. My daughter and I climbed a few times and loved it! Arturo wanted to join us but got a head cold on the boat and was under the weather.

The rest of the time we ate our way through our vacation! If you have ever cruised (or stayed all inclusive) you know exactly what I mean! The self serve soft serve ice cream was a favorite for the kids. I have a sweet tooth so cookies and sweets were my favorite, even when it wasn't dessert time. I think I ate about 300 cookies on board. Arturo ate seafood until he grew gills, well almost.

It was a dream come true to take our kids to the ocean and show them more of our world. We all love our adventures and time together. We are counting sleeps until our next Stampin' Up! Incentive trip to Hawaii!!!! This Stampin' thing sure has some great perks!

Thank-you again to all of my wonderful customers and my Dolce Stampers team. I am blessed to do what I love and share it with all of you!!

Thanks for visiting!! Have a creative day!!

stampin' up! catalogue premier

Last night a couple hundred demonstrators packed a movie theater in Edmonton to watch the 2 1/2 hour catalogue premier from Stampin' Up! I was so excited to be there with dozens of my sideline and downline team members.

in line at the theater!
the excitement was building and everyone was swapping!

Stampin' Up! on the big screen!
Check out the these swaps! Aren't they all the beauties?!

I just had to make my team a little prezzie for the event!
I gave each of them these darling note pads!

When the show stared we were on the edge of our seats and the crowd was loud! Selli Gardner unveiled the Catalogue cover and did a little stampin'. The rest of the amazing Stampin' Up! training and event staff did even MORE stampin' presentations showing us MORE products and techniques. It must have been close to 2 hours of Stampin'! (I know you are jealous!)

Every Stampin' Up! event always has prize patrol! I was not a lucky winner this time but many of my friends went home with new products. Every demonstrator in the theater received a new stamp set in an all attendee give away! Of course, we got a copy of the new catalgoue called Inspire, Create, Share. What do you think of the new cover??

I can't open this and share with you just yet ... but soon my friends you can have your very own copy!!! Want one? Just drop me a note!!!

A group of us walked over to the pub by the theater for a drink, some snacks and to pour over every detail in the new catalogue. I am sure all the men in there were wondering what on earth we were doing! I was in heaven!

I got to pre-order a load of new products today and can not wait for their arrival so I can start to play and get creative! You will have to watch out for exciting new classes coming your way! Of course you can always book a June party and celebrate with your friends!

I hope you have a creative day! Thanks for visiting!!
