Tag a bag stamp a stack ~ Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop

This week I dived into my first Artisan box to start creating. Like every great first date it was better than I dreamed it could be! I found myself craving time in my craft room and stamped every day since! Friday night I told Arturo I had to check that my stamp pads were closed from my afternoon stampin' time. Um, yeah - a tiny white lie ... I just had to finished a couple cards. When I came back upstairs the kids were conveniently in bed already. So I totally went back to stampin' (Sorry babe!). I have to say it is starting to feel like a steamy affair! Lying to my husband, sneaking away for a little time together, dreaming about "it" all the time. And it has only been two weeks!!! With this much excitement and fun ... well, my poor, poor family. I will miss them!

So what was I up to? Weeeell ... I stamped 14 cards this weekend. No big deal. Now, I can not show them all to you today (what fun would that be!?). But I can show you 10 of the cards! Here is my Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop project this week ...

Tag a Bag Stamp a Stack .. say that ten times fast! We received the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit in our August Artisan box. I have used it before for super cute tag toppers on treat bags but I wanted to find a new use for this fab kit. Immediately I saw a stamp a stack and set out to design a class! Here is a closer look ...

I added a few things to the kit to get these amazing cards ... but honestly just a few!

o  Whisper White Card Stock & a variety of embossing folders created the card bases.
o  Silver Foil Sheets were cut and punched for embellishments
o  The stamp set I used was Sumthin' Sumthin' and inked with Basic Grey, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana.

Everything else you see came from the kit - amazing, right?!
Tag a Bag Accessory Kit     133629
$9.95
10 large tags, 10 medium builder tags, 5 Coastal Cabana self-adhesive strips,
10 mini binder clips, Whisper White thick bakers twine, 40 Stampin' Dimensionals
Not only was my first date amazing - but it was cheap! Did you see that price??? I remember when I met Arturo and we started dating. I told him that he did not have to take me to the fancy and expensive restaurants. My favorite food is burgers and fries and I do really love Mc Donalds! (I am not ashamed to admit it!). Imagine all the fine dinning dollars saved over the years together. Might just make up for the affair I am having. Maybe?

Thanks for reading my friends! Watch for this class coming soon to my September event schedule!

Next stop on the blog hop train is Lisa Harlow.
Take it away Lisa!

Have a creative day!
