Give me some Guy Greetings! - Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Welcome to the weekly Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog Hop!

If you have been following us for the month of April you may know that we have been focusing on a product each week as a team. Today we will be sharing project ideas with you highlighting the Guy Greetings Stamp Set!

When we got the Spring Summer Occasions Catalogue it was one of the stamp sets that first stole my heart. I loved it right away and purchased it! I have used it to create a few things so far but I have not created as many projects as I had dreamed I would.

When I sat down this week to start designing for this post I was stumped! Does that ever happen to you? You buy a stamp set or an embellishment and then when you get it in your hands you don't know what to do with it?

I will admit that the masculine theme is not my strong suit but I think they came together in the end .... here you go!

This is the first of two cards using this fun stamp set. I paired it with the bestest Designer Series Paper Stack Eva!! ~ Adventure Bound. My fave detail here might be the staples in the X formation! I had saw this somewhere on Pinterest ... god I love our world of Pinterest ... and thought this was the perfect masculine detail! (ps - you totes need to follow ME on Pinterest!)

This stamp set has so many images and phrases. The first card I shared will be for Arturo. He is our very own construction man and the tools were a perfect fit for him. Aren't working men hot? They are not afraid to get their hands dirty, they are a mans man, they can fix up any ol thing ... yum! Hands off ladies - he is all mine!

The next card has shoes! So perfect for that metro man or the office worker! Who can resist a man in a suit with a fine pair of shoes!? swoon!

If neither of these theme's suit the man in your life there are still four other images (with cutesy phrases to match) that you can use ...
~ an anchor for the nautical chap
~ a classic car for the grease monkey
~ hats for the gentleman and
~ a creepy (yet funny) man for the comedian or bearded bro in your life

Being that I wanted to scrapbook the love of my life this month I carried on with the tools for my layouts. But remember ... where ever I have the tools stamped you can swap that out for any of these amazing images in the set!!

I hope you have been inspired to create something for that hunk of burning love in your life!
