I am obsessed with the Thomas Edison light bulb trend! The industrial mixed with a hint of shabby chic - a match made in heaven! They seam to be everywhere - patio string lights, light fixtures for your home, lamps ... I even have a Scentsy burner with one.

I know the first thing that you are going to ask ... are there coordinating Big Shot Dies? Sadly no. But I will say that the light bulbs are pretty easy to fussy cut out. I created these cards for a card swap so I simply stamped on a small piece of Whisper White, no fussy cutting required.
To color my light bulb - I inked up a Sponge Dauber with Daffodil Delight Ink. Swirl gently over the lightbulb in little circles. You may want to practice on a scrap piece of paper first. A heavy hand using the dauber can leave your color transfer blotchy or uneven.

ReplyDeleteThat design is very nice. So creative and simple. I love simple things. I think minimalism is good everywhere: from the interior design and till such prints. But where 'minimalism' isn't working - it's in translation. You can't throw away part of the original text. And all the best translation services at the http://pickwriters.com/top-10-translation-services list know about it too. Believe me, if you need to do a translation - pick a firm from that list is a must.
