Moroccan Memory Keeping - Artisan Design Team Blog Hop

Hello everyone! Today I am blogging on the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team blog hop!

A few weeks ago I shared a card on the blog using the Moroccan Suite from Stampin' Up! My inspiration for my card was our recent trip to Spain on the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip. I could not stop creating with this stamp set. Buckle your seat belts ... today I have a card to share with you, 2 scrapbook pages and 2 project life layouts!

a sunshiny color combination - GDP042

This week Global Design Project Challenge #GDP042 is a layout challenge. I think these have become my favorite to do. All I need to do is pick a color combo and a stamp set! Have you tried a GDP layout challenge yet? You should join us this week!
The color combination that I chose today is full of sunshine! You can't help but to feel happy with these colors. (Maybe because it is the color of a Peach Bellini?? yum-e!)

Hopefully I have inspired you to get crafty (and indulge in a slushy cocktail). I think I will need to head over to Pinterest and figure out a DIY Peach Bellini with my Maragitaville! I may have to do some taste testing. If I find a good recipe I will be sure to share!

Have a sunshiny week!

beach ball punch art - TGIFC61

The end of the school year is here and that means that it is time to plan my daughters birthday party. When you look at this party invitation you may think that there is a type-o. No no ... the party is in August, nearly two months away.

Many of you are rolling your eyes and thinking yourselves that I am one of "those Moms". The organized Mom that always has her lipstick on and brings home made cookies to the bake sale. The show off or brown noser Mom? I assure you, I am often a hot mess with the best of them. Having a summer kido means that I plan the party a bit early so that we can give friends the invitations before we leave for summer break. Why not just do a text or Facebook invite? gasp .... I would loose my street cred!

This year the birthday girls wants a Summer Splash Party. We will bust out the sprinkler and Slip & Slide for some back yard fun.

I thought that I should blur my address and phone number from this photo. Then I realized that all you have to do is Google me. It is tough being so famous (wink).

I am also sharing this card for the TGIF Challenge #TGIFC61. The challenge this week was to CASE your favorite designer, challengers or winners from TGIF.
Denita Wright participated in #TGIFC60 last week and created a cute punch art card using the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits as water. When I saw her project I was instantly inspired!! Thank-you Denita!

Visit the TGIF Challenges site to see some amazing creations this week! You are welcome to join the fun any time! Get creative and share with us at TGIF!

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Perfectly wrapped Flower pot banner - GDP041

Greetings my friends! I am extra excited to share my project with you today. I created the perfect banner for a flower pot that I am gifting our neighbor. It took just a few minutes and it perfectly wrapped my gift!!!

The new Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!© was "perfect" for my banner. (get it? perfectly, perfect). The large "Thanks" text and flowers from this set practically made the banner itself. I used the color combination from this weeks Global Design Project Challenge GDP041. Are they not perfect together? (I could not resist).

You will never believe this ... I walked the pot over to her house and left it on her door step to surprise her when she came home. We live in a cul-de-sac and are directly across from each other. By the time I walked from her house to mine, I forgot to text her and tell her that it was there (just to be sure she saw it). She did find the pot and sent me a text. When will this mommy brain thing end?!?!? lol

Click on over to the Global Design Project to see the creations with this fun new color combo. You are invited to play along this week! Check out the challenge details when you are there.

Have a perfect week everyone!
