A sketchy card with a cute color combo - TGIFC67

It is a TGIF day today! We have been at the cabin for over a week and due to my country state of mind I am posting about 12 hours late. We have gone boating and tubing, spent a day strolling around town, made a 1000 piece puzzle and have watched Ms. Doubtfire 5 times in the last three days (yes, 5 times). We own dozens and dozens of DVD's but this is the current favorite. In July when we stayed here for 12 days we watched The Spy Next Door at the same intensity.

I love that I can pack up my business and move out here in the summer, when I do not have stamp clubs or classes. It is harder to stay on top of my daily to do list and work priorities with the sunshine and fun but I have been doing a pretty good job at juggling it. Until I woke up this morning with the feeling that I had forgotten something!

I had designed my card last week before we left Edmonton. Thankfully, I just needed to shoot some pictures and post it.

The sketchy look of this card takes me back to my Architecture days. I used a Stampin' Write Marker to draw the lines around the front square cardstock. The sketched circle is a stamp from the Fresh Fruit Stamp Set. The background grid is from the Timeless Textures Stamp Set.

I am new to the Enamel Dot craze and I have to say that they are just darling with this card with that the circle stamp. I will have to figure out a way to use the stars and hearts that come in these packages. Got any tips or ideas for me?

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
