Hello Spring? Are you there? I didn't think so. April 20-something and we are still waiting for the warm sunshine of spring. Here in Edmonton, we have had nothing but snow and freezing temperatures. I am not impressed!
Spring brings Peonies. My Grandma Rita had dozens of Peonies when I was growing up and these pink flowers remind me of her, which makes them one of my favorite flowers.
I tried to create a peonie with the You've Got This Stamp Set (I think it turned out okay!). I stamped the flower Smoky Slate Ink on Shimmery White Cardstock and used my AquaPainter to watercolor the flower (Rose Red Ink & Garden Green Ink). It was really hard to photograph, but the flower is covered with Clear Wink of Stella, which gives it a beautiful shimmer.
